Finite Element Multi-Physics Analysis and Experimental Testing for Hollow Brick Solutions with Lightweight and Eco-Sustainable Cement Mix

Combining eco-sustainability and technological efficiency is one of the “hot” topics in current construction architectural sectors. In this work, recycled tire rubber aggregates acoustically effective fractal cavities were combined design, modeling, experimental characterization lightweight concrete hollow bricks. After analyzing structural acoustic behavior brick models by finite element analysis as a function type constituent material (reference rubberized cement mixes) inner geometry (circular- fractal-shaped designs), compressive tests sound-absorption measurements experimentally performed to evaluate real performance developed prototypes. Compared traditional circular pattern, improve mechanical strength brick, its (strength-to-weight ratio), medium–high frequency noise damping. The use ground waste total aggregate represents an eco-friendlier solution than ordinary cementitious mix providing, at same time, enhanced properties, ductility, better sound attenuation. near-compliance rubber-concrete blocks with standard requirements value-added properties have demonstrated good potential for incorporating non-structural applications.
